I'm a native Minnesotan, (now St. Paul, MN), and an artist working in many markets and mediums. A graduate of the U of M Twin Cities, (BA Studio Arts, Painting and Drawing concentration), and Certificate of Illustration, I now specialize in faith inspired art, handpainted clergy stoles, church paraments, cremation urn funeral palls, acrylic paintings, and mixed media art. I exhibit in local art events with my work in many collections. I'm the artist-in-residence at Immanuel Lutheran Church (ELCA).

Currently I enjoy working with acrylic paints (traditional and textile specific), watercolors (traditional, gemstone and mineral origins), ink, pastels, pencil, charcoal, and mixed media which includes volcano ash, mica flakes, and gel mediums. Prayer and big dollops of optimism are also in my tool box.
All hand painted and hand drawn, by me, and no digital design....I have paint under my finger nails and often times elsewehere. Who knows what lies ahead in my love of experimenting!
Lifelong creativity and curiosity has had me drawing inspiration from many sources and in many fulfilling ways. Playfulness, relationships, nature, humor, abstract thoughts, emotions, overheard phrases, faith, spirituality, and Life's events all contribute to my process, love of variety, and materials used. Collaborating with others on custom work brings added inspiration for everyone!
